A message from Bad Shepherd Brewing Co Managing Director & Co-Founder, Dereck Hales:
Hi all,
I’m incredibly proud and excited to announce that Bad Shepherd Brewing Co. had its best ever showing at the Australian International Brewing Awards last night winning 5 Gold medals, 5 Silver medals and 4 Bronze medals!
Of particular note the Peanut Butter Porter won Gold in both can and draught format, Double Choc Hazelnut Brown won Gold in both can and draught format and Orange Creamsicle Triple Milkshake IPA won Gold in packaged format (only format entered).
In fact Peanut Butter Porter has now won Gold in every competition it has been entered (3 for 3!) and our Oatmeal Stout which took Silver in packaged and draught format now has taken Gold or Silver in 15 consecutive competition entries and has never received lower than a Silver medal!
Whilst not announced we’re very confident we were in the top three small breweries in the country last night and came very close to being awarded Champion Brewery.
This is an incredible feat and I’d personally like to extend congratulations to our amazing brewing team. I’m proud of you all.
