Born from the shadows and fuelled by a monstrous appetite for hops, Darkbine Black IPA is our boldest winter release yet.

At first glance, Darkbine pours jet black with a tan head that hints at rich roasted malt character. But don't be fooled — beneath the darkness lies a hop-forward beast bursting with vibrant New Zealand aromatics. Layers of Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron deliver notes of ripe tropical fruit, passionfruit, citrus and stone fruit, while a carefully crafted malt bill provides subtle hints of dark chocolate, toasted bread crust and roasted coffee.

The result is a beer that walks the line between two worlds: the bold hop character of a West Coast IPA and the smooth, dark complexity of a stout.

At 6.7% ABV and 50 IBU, Darkbine is assertive without being overpowering, making it the perfect companion for cool nights, smoky barbecue and those who refuse to choose between dark beers and hoppy beers.
