Are you ready for the biggest craft beer street party of the year? If you are a fan of good beer, great food, awesome music, and amazing vibes, then you don't want to miss SOUTH EAST BEER 2023!
SOUTH EAST BEER 2023 is the premier southeast beer festival event at Good Beer Week (GBW), the biggest celebration of independent Australian breweries in the country. GBW runs from 20-27 May 2023 and features hundreds of events across Melbourne and Victoria.
But SOUTH EAST BEER 2023 is not just any event. It's a one-day-only extravaganza featuring beer, music, food, and entertainment that will take over the street outside Bad Shepherd in Cheltenham and turn it into a beer lover's paradise. With over EIGHTY different craft beers from eight of the best breweries in the south-eastern suburbs, including:

- Stomping Ground Brewing Co
- Banks Brewing
- Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers
- Braeside Brewing Co
- Two Bays Brewing Co
- Kaiju Beer
And of course, us, Bad Shepherd Brewing Co., where we will be launching a special beer that's been in the works for more than 36 months... Trust us, it's worth the wait. Along with several limited-edition single keg brews!
But it's not just about the beer. You'll also enjoy live music from local artists Emile Battour (12 – 3PM), The Fretslider (3 – 6PM), and CJ Commerford & The Supertone (6 – 8PM) that will get the whole family grooving.
If you get hungry, don't worry. We've got you covered with highly praised American BBQ from our restaurant, nibbles & treats from pop-up food stalls, and some of Melbourne's best food trucks serving up delicious treats to keep you going.
Plus, you'll have the chance to learn from the experts:
- Barbeque masterclasses will be held with our Pit-Master, Kyle at 2pm & 4pm so make sure you purchase an add-on to one (or both) of these highly sort after classes that is guaranteed to have your mouth watering! Get in quick, numbers are extremely limited.
- Free brewery tours with Bad Shepherd's brew team running throughout the day.
SOUTH EAST BEER 2023 is a dog-friendly and family-friendly event, so bring your furry friends and your kids along for a fun day out. There will be lawn games, competitions, giveaways, spot prizes and more to keep everyone entertained.
Tickets start from only $19.99 each and are free for under 18s. And the best part is percentage of all ticket sales will be donated to MS Australia, so you can drink good beer and do good at the same time!
