Are you ready for a night of fun, music and charity? Join us on Friday 31st March from 7pm for our Shitbox Rally Charity Karma Keg for the Cancer Council!
We're proud to sponsor a car in Shitbox Rally 2023. This rally is not for the faint-hearted. It will see the brave team driving a Shitbox (a car worth $1500 or less) from Rockhampton to Hobart over 5000km of rough and rugged terrain with 500 other participants. That's right, they're going to cross the whole country in a clunker!
But it's all for a good cause. The Shitbox Rally is Australia's largest community lead fundraiser for the Cancer Council. Since 2009, it has raised over $26 million for cancer research and prevention. We want to help them reach their goal of $3 million this year.
That's why we'll be tapping a keg of Victoria Pale Ale on Friday 31st March. All proceeds from this keg will go directly to the Cancer Council. So come and enjoy a refreshing pint of this crisp and hoppy brew while supporting a great cause.
And that's not all. We'll also have live music from 7 – 11pm featuring some of the best local bands around:
• The Slims – A worldly blues rock band from right here in bayside, featuring a Brit, an American, and two Australian's performing a mix of originals and Americana twists on classics.
• La Mot – Acoustic covers with verve
• Fretsliders – Leeroy from the Fretsliders will be playing smooth acoustic solo covers for a chill evening.
So don't miss this opportunity to have a blast while helping out those who need it most. Come along to our Shitbox Rally Charity Karma Keg for the Cancer Council on Friday 31st March from 7pm. See you there! RSVP on Facebook!
