Last night, independent breweries from across Australia connected via a series of Zoom calls and live-crosses to state parties (where it was possible!) for the virtual Indies 2020 awards ceremony.
Hosted by James from Crafty Pint and Karl from Moon Dog who broadcasted with green screens and sound effects from a studio in Melbourne, it was definitely a different way to celebrate the industry, but then it's definitely been a different year!
We picked up a range of medals throughout the night but the highlight for us has to be Peanut Butter Porter picking up a Gold in the Hybrid Beer category. Woohoo!
